STORMY IMMIGRATION STORY

After retiring from international competition, she moved to Stuttgart, following her mother who re-married to a man who lives there. In Stuttgart she started to learn to work. Meanwhile she got to know a man named Peter Heinowski, who works as a social worker. Peter's parents also associated with her.

But soon Dagmar's mother died of cancer. It was the worst moment for her. Then Peter and his parents offered her warm hands. "Dagmar, we'll be your family!" So she started to live with Peter's family and she never met her father-in-law again.

Dagmar worked for Schwaben gymnastic federation and then became an instructor of a fitness center in Stuttgart. But after marriage with Peter, they moved to Oldenburg, the northern town of Germany. In 1997 she gave birth to a boy on 20th March . The new family member was named Erik.
